5 Places to eat around campus

It’s around lunch time and you can’t decide where or what to eat today. There are a couple great choices around Sheridan College Brampton

With a few close and great places to eat you can always satisfy any need besides the Sheridan cafeteria

1.      Tim Hortons
Tims is a great place to grab a muffin or bagel if you are in a hurry and need something quick.

2.      The Den
The Den is where you can go grab a couple drinks and some food while relaxing with your friends. Food is made fresh and is priced to not hurt the student wallet

3.      Union Fresh
Here soups are made daily and they also offer a healthy variety of sandwiches and wraps. It’s located in the school so you never have to leave on those cold winter days.

4.      Subway
Located a few steps away from the school subway offers great sandwiches and as bonus offers subs of the day

5.      Wendy’s
If you aren’t feeling soup or sandwiches just head across the street and have a burger at Wendy’s

Tests, homework, assignments, presentations, work, clubs Ahhhhh! All this leads to one thing and one thing only: STRESS

I can tell you firsthand about how hard it is to balance school work and extracurricular activities while also trying to have a ‘life’. All the back and forth really drains a person and cause a lot of stress. The first thing to understand is that this is natural and happens to the best of us. You are not alone! I too have skirted the edges of haveing a Hollywood worthy head explosion due to sleepless nights and work overload.

The best way to relieve yourself from stress is to manage your time properly, eat well, drink lots of water and make sure you find time to sometimes forget everything and indulge in something that is just for you! Whether it be having a marathon for your favorite TV show, kicking back with a good book and some amazing music, going out with friends or just catching a few extra hours of sleep. Find time for YOU too!
