What do you think, Sheridan College becoming a university?

 College vs University

There are no proper measurements or equations by which you can differentiate a College from University, but I’m sure you can tell by quality of teaching services, size, and other factors can explain if it’s a college or university. Sheridan College already has 3 campuses throughout GTA area and one skill training center. At all campuses they provide enormous set of courses for Business, Science, Information technology and lot more.

They do more than that, Sheridan College have their own press release. College has a huge number of book and food shops in it. Sheridan College also has programs and courses for International students, so that means Sheridan is not only local it have a high status in international education market out there. I think Sheridan College has a lot more features which it requires to be a University.

What do you think; would you consider Sheridan a college or University?

Life of college Students

- Education vs money

I hear people say, “money can’t buy everything” is that true?

Life of student revolves around two major components of life education and money. Well some people have skills and hardworking spirit but can’t perform well in their academics, because they are not that fortunate like other companions who have their dad’s credit card. Working 40 hours and taking studies at same times can be stressful since students don’t get enough time to finish their assignments and prepare test before deadline.

So, that’s obvious that those students have to earn their own tuitions just because they don’t have a family or that family is not financially strong enough to pay for college tuitions. The question from me, is there should be any special type of legislationary treatment for these students?  The freshmen drop-out rate of about 25 percent is astoundingly high, One of the leading reasons for that is lack of financial support(1).Nearly three out of four students holds an outside job(1).
What you think, should colleges make specialized programs with fewer courses per sessions for these students since neglecting isn’t going to help both parties?
